HRC performed a 1.6 mile long topographic design survey for the removal of the existing roadway and replacement with a wider pavement. In addition to the surface features, all underground utilities were located, including public sanitary sewers, storm sewers, water mains and also numerous private utilities located within the existing right-of-way. The survey extended into the adjacent properties to allow the determination of required grading, construction, and permanent utility easements.
